you just simply refill transmission fluid at the dip stick
There is not one. Transmission is sealed. Take to dealer.
Doesn't have one its a sealed transmission.
The 2005 Lincoln Navigator doesn't have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick , if your transmission isn't working properly or you suspect a leak take it to the dealer
As far as I know there is no automatic transmission fluid level dipstick on a Lincoln LS , the dealer has a way of checking from underneath the car
The transmission fluid does not come out of the transmission dip stick. The transmission fluid is added through the dip stick area though. The exact specification on how to change transmission fluid will depend upon the exact vehicles and the owner's manual should be reviewed.
There is no reservoir use a funnel and add to the dip stick tube.
Most likely it will take mercon transmission fluid. Not to be confused with mercon V transmission fluid. To be sure pull the transmission stick out and read the side of the stick. It will tell you what fluid to use.
If it is a manual transmission it has no dip stick just a fluid level plug
Check to see how low the fluid is on the dip stick. Add fluid in small amounts, about one fourth of a quart at a time. Keep checking the level until the transmission is full but not over full.
You remove the transmission dip stick. You will need a small funnel that will fit in the tube where the stick goes in at to check fluid level in transmission. Put fluid in there.
If it's the same as town car models, there is no dip stick. The transmission is a sealed unit and does not need to be checked.
