On most vehicles the blower resistor can be found next to or near the blower motor inside the vehicle left side below the glove box. It is attached to the blower box because it gets real hot and the air from the blower helps keep it cool. And when its bad it will only work on 1&2 speed or none.
Blower Motor Resistor is located under the hood on the fire wall behind the right valve cover and the heater hose. It's about the size of a deck of playing cards.

I am no expert; but, according to my Montana repair manual, the blower motor resistor is located under the dash on the passenger side. It can be accessed from inside the car. It's located behind the fan motor
