GM vehicles do not have a fuel shut off/inertia switch
No. I have an 89 z24 as well, and I had to put in an automatic reset switch in my fuse box manually
the fuel pump on most cars with fuel injection is a electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank
No, GM vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches
Problem other then Fuel Pump
in the fuel tank
Drop the fuel tank. It is in there.
It is located in the tank...
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
If your looking for an inertia fuel switch, it doesn't have one.
Could be the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay. Have a pressure test done on the fuel line and monitor it. If you lose fuel pressure when you step on the gas, then your fuel pump is likely going out.
yes If the ecm does not see rpm from senor it will not turn fuel pump on,you will only hear pump cycle during key on before crank ,but no fuel pump heard after crank tech14444
Not sure if you mean a fuel pump cut off switch that shuts down the fuel in case of an impact.?. But if it is, just look in the trunk, sometimes behind the carpet or molding and you will find the reset. But actually I don't think that car has one, think that is controlled by the ecu. If you are not talking bout this, then the answer is no...there is not a "kill" or "interrupt" switch.
