However, you CAN hunt in the city limits with a bow. When outside of the city limits, you cannot discharge a firearm within 100 yards of a livable dwelling. You can hunt on public hunting areas. You can also hunt on WMA's (Wildlife Management Areas) but only during certain times. You must also carry a specific license and permit to be able to hunt on WMA's. As for the animals being hunted, that really depends on what region you are hunting because there are A LOT of legal game animals across the country.
