At Wicca gatherings Witchcraft can be practised anywhere. It can be in a group (coven), or it can be solitary practise. It can be practised indoors or outdoors. Hope this helps:)
In most communities you can find a New Age, Metaphysical, or Alternate Religions bookstore... most of these have a notice board where you can find listings for Pagan gatherings. You should be able to connect with a group in this manner, but be prepared to spend a little time getting to know some of the members in a "public" setting, most groups are not "open" to the public. That said, you can, if you have your ear to the ground usually find one or two "open Rituals" performed by groups in your area... these most often happen in and around Halloween, don't ask me why... Also if you live in a community with a college or university, they often have message boards where you can find connections to Wiccan or Pagan groups. Be patient, be discrete, and be honest about why you are contacting them.
It was the wicked witch which practiced witchcraft.
The correct English grammar would be "Magic and witchcraft are practiced." You have two distinct subject in this sentence, therefore are is correct. Is would be used if there was only one subject.
Yes they did, this all started from a book and then year by year everone started to believe that. But you might not see them in these days. They might not appear for ever!

The Christians gave the name "witchcraft" to pagan herbalism, and pagan was around long before the christians

There are historical and archeological evidences that there was some form of Witchcraft or a Mystic Religion practiced in Mexico. Not only in Mexico, but all around the world there existed many Mystic Religions similar to Witchcraft. These Mystic Religions were not originally called Witchcraft, since the word Witchcraft was introduced by the Vatican around 1600.

Yes. One of the easiest ways to do this is to belive in the voice of nature. Then, your journey begins. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, I seem an obvious misconception here. Wicca... is a religion. Witchcraft and spellwork are practices. Wicca is not spells, that's witchcraft.
No, witchcraft is not a religion, but rather a belief or practice in the use of magic embraced in various religions. Witchcraft is practiced by people of many different religions, and even those with no specific religious beliefs,
