Singapore is near the equator, located on the very southern tip of the Malay peninsula.

Singapore is a small city sized island surrounded (on the north west and north east sides) by the the country called Malaysia, which occupies most of the Malayan Peninsula.

Malaysia is in the south-east of greater Asia, next to Indonesia, the south china sea, and Thailand.

Thailand is next to Burma (near India) and Vietnam (near china).

Singapore is about half way between India/Tibet and Australia.
