Yes! Certainly you can. First I was afraid to put a pair of finches in a cage of 6 lovebirds who had their 5 babies in nest box.But when I put finches inside the cage, the two species never cared about each other.I had heard that lovebirds are very aggressive during their breeding time but they never came close to finches. Make sure that cage is big enough, mine is 3 by 3.Happy mingling!. Two species in one cage look very attractive.
Finches like to have company, so I suggest having a male and a female together in the same cage. They are very cute together, they always snuggle with each other :) Put a nest in their cage and they will sleep there together at night. However, they will usually keep breeding continually. If you don't want to have cute fluffy baby finches, you can take our the eggs every time you see them and throw them away. But if you do want cute fluffy baby finches, they are very fun to watch grow up and there is nothing you need to do for them, just take them out when the parents start picking on them. You can put them in another cage, free them outside, or you can sell them at a near bye pet store. I have zebra finches, so this may varie depending on your breed of finch.
They will make a nest out of the bedding you put in the cage.
When you clean your dwarf hamsters cage you should put fresh bedding in because they could have stored food in it that could rot or they might have urinated in it which should be cleaned so change its nest whenever you clean its cage which should be a around once a week.
NO. because the baby chicks can only put in a nest or in a cage.
They use their hair to build a nest, so they pull it out and put it in a nest for their young. It is good to put some hay in the cage also for the nest.
You put the doe in the bucks cage, and watch. The buck will get on the does back and hump. When he falls off (he may give a shrill squeal) they have successfully mated. Mark the date on the calendar, count 31 days from date . This is the date you should get baby bunnies but on he 28th day you should put a nest box in the does cage, this will give her time to build her nest. You should use straw or good clean grass hay to fill the nest box.
yes. it is possible. simply pick up the male, put him in female cage, close the latch, and let the romance begin
From what I read you need to put at least an inch of bedding in there cage and give them toilet paper and cardboard tubes to chew up to make a nest.
you should put your dog in a cage when it purposly disobeyes you or does something it should not have done if you put your dog in a cage everytime you leave your house it wont be a punishment when they do something wrong.
it depends how old the bird is if the bird is young it probably won't know how to make a nest. if the bird is older it will probably make a nest.
Yes. You have to take her off the nest and put her into a separate cage to unbrood her.
