Rhode Island is a small state, but it has so many great attractions to visit. In Providence, one great place where your kids would enjoy themselves would be at the Providence Children's Museum, which has a lot of creative exhibits for children. Also in Providence, the Providence Performing Arts Center hosts a variety of shows and plays which are kid friendly. A couple of years ago, High School Musical was performed at this theater. Newport, Rhode Island is also an exciting place for children, especially during Winter Festival, a week long event featuring activities such as Pizza tasting, jewelry making, kids concerts, and much more. When I was a kid, my parents took me to Winter Festival every year and I definitely had a great time.
