No switch it has a relay auto turn on
Gm does not use inertia switches.
It is built into the headlight switch.
i would have the light switch checked to see if it is faulty
switch is down on the left mines a push type
The coolant level switch on a 95 Achieva has a sticking problem. If you tap the coolant tank near the sensor the light will go out
You might need a new bulb. i had the same problem and it wasnt the bulb.. i never figured it out so i ran another switch to the lights and battery... a tuggle switch
The headlights run on a different fuse from all other lights. Locate and check this fuse. Also the headlight switch may have a circuit breaker inside and after time it will get weak and not reset. Check for power to the switch and if you have power to the switch and then the switch has gone bad and should be replaced.
Assuming yours is a mid-late 80's model, the switch is on the left side of the steering column, next to the heater vent.
The headlamp switch controls the power to the dimmer switch and then on to the headlights. The headlamp switch controls the power to the dimmer switch and then on to the headlights.
Were. Is the oldsmobile intrigue relay switch. Loocated
You can only turn off the headlights by applying the emergency brake. When the emergency brake is on, the headlights will not light. Otherwise the best of my expererience is that they are on all the time. If you have remote start, put the emergency brake on before you leave the vehicle and when you remote start it, the headlights will not be on, but the driving lights (if switch is on) will be on as well as the parking lights.
yes, replace the switch
