i have a 95 Prizm and i just bolted the plate to the bumper. it does the same the as a bracket. but it cost no money.
The light is held by clips. You can remove the housing by using your fingers or a small screw driver. Once you have the housing out, you should be able to easily replace the light bulbs. The bulbs come in pairs and cost about 5 bucks.
there will be two. there will be a tab on the side of the black bracket, push the tab to the side the bracket will come out. then twist the light socket pull it it ant the pull out the bulb then but in the new. same for the other one. the bulbs are 1.74 for two at wal mart.
you pop the clear plastic off on the side of the swith and replace the light... close by putting the opposite end first and the clicking it in by the switch. thank you
The 1996 Geo Prizm heater core is located behind the kick plate on the passenger side of the passenger compartment. The kick plate will need to be removed in order to view the heater core.
On my 94 Prizm, that plastic plug has an O-ring on the other side of the body, the thing to do is pull the light assy straight back, maybe by leveraging a flat screwdriver where the light assy has curved around to the side of the rear. Then you clearly see how it goes back on and how leaving out one screw can really screw things up, I almost cut that plastic nut.
I have a 1993 Geo Prizm, and there is a fuse block is located to the left of your left leg; on the plastic panel. There is a pull out access door there.
because you ugly alternater.
Reach under the bumper cover , and you should feel the wires feel around once you have located the end of the socket twist it and the socket will fall down, then pull the bulb straight out, repeat with the other side

From inside the trunk.
I have a 1996 Prizm LSI and the OD switch is a small round button on the side of the shift lever. You could have accidentally switched it off and that is why you get the light.
