It should have eithert a view port or a dip stick style level indicator on hydraulic reservoir
how do i check my hydraulic fluid on my tipper ram on my nissan cabstar
with the dipstick ! the mark up about 3 inch is max level
Under the seat is a dipstick simply unscrew it and check the level.
There is a small round window on the transmission that can be seen just behind the clutch pedal on the left side of the tractor. The hydraulic fluid must be filled so the oil level is between the two lines etched on the window. It takes about 8 gallons of hydraulic fluid for a drain and fill. The fill hole is under the rubber plug on the raised portion of the seat area between the driver's knees. There are four drain plugs.
check your hydraulic level because it may be low, but if you check and is on level then my peoples bad news you hydraulic might have gone out and might need to be rebuild, but check and just hope to god is just hydraulic level being low, if not then in not that much to rebuild as far as price goes I have seen rebuild kits on ebay for cheap. I hope this help you my American friends.
You check the level with the dip stick on top of the trans one oit dose all you fill it under the drivers seat. This is not the engine oil of coarse I own a 1500
You remove the right side panel and observe the hydraulic reservoir. Fill to the line IT HOLDS 6 GALLONS 10-30 WT OIL
The level check for the hydraulics/transmission/rear axle is pipe plug on the left side of the tractor just in front of the rear axle housing. Oil is supposed to be at that level with all hydraulics extended.
It souds like you are very low on hydraulic fluid, check out the reservoir level.
The dipstick and fill plug are located in front of the gearshifts on the right hand side of the transmission.
Hydraulic or mechanical? If hydraulic Check fluid level Check operation of Master and Slave cylinders Check operation of throw-out bearing Check operation of pressure plate If mechanical: Check pedal to see if linkage disconnected or broken Check pressure plate and throw-out bearing
