I goes under the passenger side back seat.
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport : The wheel jack is in the cargo area , on the drivers side , behind a removable plastic panel ( the lug nut wrench is also stored there )
There should be a jack in the compartment behind the back seat.
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac it's in the passenger side rear cab compartment behind the access door in the trim panel ( according to the Owner Guide )
It should be the same as my 1995 Ford Explorer , there is a " hook " on the front of both lower control arms
The jack that came with the Explorer is placed under the rear axle " tube " between the bolts for the bracket on the rear leaf spring ( according to the picture in the Owner Guide )
under the car
There isn't one :( Mine is on my console. It's hard to see, just a small little input jack, next to my aux power jack.
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : The vehicle jack is supposed to be behind the removable plastic panel , on the drivers side of the cargo area , near the liftgate
The tire jack is supposed to be under the carpeted lid in the floor of the cargo area along with a bag including the tools on a 2008 Ford Explorer
Using the factory jack : On the front there is a hook on the front of the lower control arms On the back place the jack under the axle tube below the leaf spring
Under the axle tube directly below the leaf springs ( factory jack used with Explorer )
On Ford vans it is in the rear in the compartment that holds the jack and tire iron. you might check there. its located passenger front floor board just above the carpet
