I went to the Tomy Website (which makes First Year Baby Gates) and clicked on the "Contact Us" button on the bottom. Instead of filling in the email request I called them instead. I immediately got through and told them that my gate's petal was defective and they are going to send out a new replacement petal no charge!

Purchase the replacement bulb first and have a look at the way it connects to the wiring and how it attaches to the headlight assembly. After sitting there for a few years the rubber often gets a little hard and is usually stuck to the headlight assembly so it might take a little effort. Hopefully removing it doesn't damage the assembly.
