The Bible says in John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." So when there was nothing, God was there and he created everything that is today. This is a question that the human mind cannot comprehend because we are finite and God is infinite. Revelation 1:8 & 22:13 tell us that God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. So really God had no beginning, He just always was. {| !
