Slavery, was prohibited by a Chad Williams. He was a big supporter who thought slavery was bad. Chad Williams was born in a northern state. He earned money to speak to the president and to attend a congress meeting,and they allowed him to talk. Chad Williams convinced the crowd and later that evening threw him a party in his honor.
