in the 1955 Texas instrument made chips mostly diode array for the VERDAN computer then they introduced the unjunction transistors into chip array it had problems it depended on internal biasing just right to work. in actuality most of them blew up because power supplies did not come up or shut down in perfect sequence. the packaging was flat with leds extending on the sides. that tell you how old i am.
