Christians believed that witches were associated with Satan (the devil) and that they would harm god or god's people they just tried to protect themselves from women who were lucky because they survived the horrible tests that they were put through. and to be honest people of all religions are rather evil in many ways if you think about it but I'm not saying anything against the religions just that we are all a little bit savage really.
witches don't exist but the people killed because people thought they were witches are Innocent in movies and films they are evil
The history of witches is rooted in the nature and goddess religions of earliest prehistoric humanity.
Mostly innocent women.
Witches were burned, because they could escape suffocation.

Yes. Witches have existed much longer than Christians. So, Yes There Were.
Generally all denominations of Christianity reject us Homosexuals, and witches such as my self
Hmmm.... I tend to think, they are more disalike than alike. Witchcraft is varied, though, so it might help you to focus on a particular tradition and ask a more specific question like "How are Wiccans and Christians alike?" or how are "Gypsy Witches and Christians alike?"
No. Witches never existed. In medieval times many thought there were witches doing evil things. But that was a view based on ignorance.
They tried to prove that they were witches by throwing them in a pond with their hands and legs tied together and if they floated they were a witch and were taken to be hanged and if they sunk then they were innocent but they died by drowning.
Witches were burned at the stake to clense the towns and cities. Women who had black cats and had bad things happen around their house were trialed and if found guilty burned at the stake. If they were found innocent they had probably been killed by the trial anyway
No. There never have been.
