In countries bordering the Persian Gulf. The Persian Gulf feeds into the Gulf of Oman, which feeds into the Arabian Sea. The Arabian Sea is simply the name of the northwest portion of the Indian ocean. The northeast portion of the Indian Ocean is the Bay of Bengal. If the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea didn't have names, when looking at a map; they would simply look like part of the Indian Ocean.
