I dont think it was banned anywhere, and a quick look on Google has proved to be unfruithful.

Though at one point in Ireland a few Catholic priests were trying to get it banned because the book shops were selling box loads every week. A quote from one priest in a local paper at the time was "they're selling 17 of the devils books for every Holy Bible". They never succeeded in banning it though.
