Edit: Like the above said, they were sent to concentration camps. Although, if they were healthy the Jew was then send to work camps, but before this they lived in the ghettos. (or they had to go hide.)
Besides concentration camps,They would be sent to a ghetto,which they soon had to be sent away to camps.

They were basiclly little Jewish towns where Jews where forced to live. They didn't have a separate town, exactly, there were fenced in area's where they lived but the conditions were not good. it was very dirty and alot of Jews died from it.
