Judaism is the oldest of the so-called Abrahamic religions and Christianity is the 2nd oldest beginning in circa 31 AD and eventually spreading worldwide as the largest religion. Islam is the newest beginning in the 7th century AD.
Islam calls their holy book the Koran. For Judaism it is the Tanakh. For Christians it is the Bible.
There are also different denominations of Judaism, Hinduism, and Islam.
Abrahamic religions include Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the Baha'i faith. Christianity recognize Judaism but not Islam. Islam recognizes Judaism, Christianity but not Baha'i faith. And finally Baha'i faith recognizes Judaism, Christianity and Islam all together. And obviously he did not start anything. He simply preached the word of God, i.e. the holy revelations.

Islam's claim to Jerusalem is political, not religious (or at least not at all in the way Christians and Jews view Jerusalem).
