not all children got evacuated in the war. It was up to your parents in they wanted to evacuate you. Some children got evacuated but got homesick and ran home. Hitler didnt bomb major cities until 1 year after the war so lots of parents took their children home, thinking nothing is going to happen but then the blitz started
just after world war when hit la was killed
Italy was being invaded by Austria-Hungary. Children in the north were sent to Britain for safety's sake.
Yes. It was the children, that were evacuated; mainly because the government wanted to preserve the future generation. They were mainly evacuated to the countrysides where they lived with rich people, but they were not treated very well. They were servants instead of guests. No, there was no threat of aerial bombing of civillians in WW1. I don't think there was any evacuation anywhere. The most evacuation was in ww2 but there was evacuation because my great grandad was evacuated in ww1.
Children got evacuated in the world war 2 for their safety and education. That was answered by another person well NO ! it's wrong . Yes they got away for there safety and educatiob but ... They didn't have any jobs because they were evacuated apart from working for the people they were staying with.
