No the golden rule is The teaching of Jesus that you should treat others as you would like them to treat you.
Take the first two numbers "05" subtractract from 100 and this gives you the age of your rifle = 1995. Older Marlin 22's guns have a different serial numbers that contain letter one or more letters that are used to determine the age of the gun. Your value will depend on condition. Good condition 85% to 90% would be somewhere between $300 and $400.
The golden goal was a rule in soccer where if a goal was scored in extra time, the team that scored it would immediately be declared the winner and the match would end. It was used in some tournaments in the past, but it is no longer in use. The rule was abolished by FIFA in 2004.
The Golden Rule is a simple but effective way to explain it: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
1895 according to armscollectors.com/sn/marlinlookup.php
The serial number should be on the lower tang, under the lever. Open the lever and look where it meets the tang.
I would say that your marlin was made in 1899 if it is a model 1889,1891,1892,1893,1894,1897.I would say that you would probably have a marlin 1893 even though you do not state this in your question.
It would help if you could tell me which "golden Marlin" model you have? Also condition, features, etc. Marlin made several guns with "Golden" on the barrel, but there should also be a model designation somewhere.
A serial number would be required to identify the year of manufacture of your Marlin model 60.
i would say between 1909-1910.
No. Marlin-Rockwell bought the bankrupt Hopkins & Allen firm in 1917. Marlin is now owned by Remington. There are a few collectors of H&A firearms, and references on them. Sorry.
The last recorded serial number was 355,500 in 1906.I would say that your Marlin model 1894 rifle was probably made in 1908-1909.
The letter J in the serial number would designate a 1952 date of manufacture.
With that low of a serial number I would suspect either 1893,or 1894.
I believe I have a Marlin No.18 pump action octagon barrel single shot rifle. Would upload photo but cannot locate this option.
Serial starting with T would be 1960
This rifle was made from 1971-1988.In order to find the year of manufacture you would need to post the serial number.
