You are in for a treat. The fuse for all the electric door locks is located BEHIND the fuse panel found under the dash in the 8 o'clock position from the steering wheel. You have to remove (unbolt) the entire fuse block. I'm handy w/ cars and gave up. I do not like to have to push and tug at wiring. My local mechanic would not touch it ! Many $$$$ later at the dealer ... I learned the fuse failed because the driver's door locking mechanism failed. Seem the parts alone are @ $175 ... according to the dealer the whole mechanism had to be replaced not just a motor. HOSED ???? 2000 Focus w/ 24,000 miles ... garage kept.
