Check the fuses.
It is possible that both of the fuses are bad for the low beam headlights and the cruise control. A loose ground wire could cause the fuses to blow.
Does the "cruise" light come on?
Check your fuses first; you may have a bad fuse.
To replace t starter on a V8 Touareg, the engine must be removed. It is not something most people would be willing to tackle on their own.
Did the controls themselves stop working or just the lights behind the control panel? First thing would be to check the fuses that control these accessories. If the fuses are okay, I would then suspect the wiring behind the dash to have come disconnected or loose.
if all buttons and lights went out on your climate control then either its not receiving proper power or ground, or the control panel assembly is faulty.
Because of the climate there and the problem with palmetto bugs out of control, i would recommend it for everybody personally, but it depends on your individual tolerance.
Why would you even want to do it? It would be very costly to change it to a manual system.
That would depend on the storage unit. Indoor units with climate control do not require the careful packing of clothing as outdoor storage units with no climate control.
If you people would get a clue and try to understand the question a little more. What they, and I, would like to know, is what vehicles use the GM Digital Climate control module 16181974? If you need to replace it, what years/models would have this (mine is a 95 Buick PA Ultra) and I need a replacement.
Used Climate ControlSalvage Yard.ebay has them all the time. around 30 bucks. new is over 600
