What_could_be_causing_your_2000_ford_windstar_battery_to_not_hold_a_chargeThere is probably something drawing power when the car is switched off look up the wiki answer i pasted above i answered a similar question their
check your transmission fluid or it may be something electrical if your cavalier transmission is run by electronics. If not it may be a sun gear inside the transmission so you may need to get the transmission rebuilt.
neon green Actually, this car uses DEXCOOL, so the coolant should be pinkish-orange, unless you have switched to the new, universal neon green stuff. - canavm
With your year model cavalier it should have a mechanical fuel pump.It is mounted below the intake manifold .I originally suggested it was a in tank fuel pump. This however mostly applies to cars with throttle body injection and gm switched from the carburetor to tbi somewhere between 1982-1983.So in short if your car has tbi it is really obvious with the injector seen on top of the tbi unit.Being you should have the 1.8 ohv engine with the 2barrell carb. All other years have the in tank electric fuel pump and the fuel tank has to be removed to replace.
