It does not make any difference what color of anti-freeze you use in your 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier. The anti-freeze manufacturer can make their anti-freeze any color they choose.

Sounds like transmission fluid is getting in to your antifreze. Some types of antifreeze are normally red in color.

You could have a cracked engine block.

The 1994 Cavalier creates a vacuum from the engine. There are vacuum hoses all through the engine bay, and under the dash.
