Mastiff breeds are big and strong enough to kill hyenas.
the can kill them
The spotted, or 'Laughing Hyena" is not truly a dog and it is a member of the Hyaenidae family and not of the Canidae, but is regarded by many people as a dog.
A gray wolf is stronger because it out weighs the hyena and is mored skilled than a striped hyena, not to say that a striped hyena is just a weak scavenger like most people say. Think about it like this, if a striped hyena is attacked by a large dog it will feign death, if a wolf is attacked by a dog, it will kill it, even the most powerful dogs. A more equal fight would be a gray wolf vs spotted hyena.
The hyena looks vaguely like a dog except that it is notable for its extremely high front shoulders and low hips. The hyena's distinctive markings include a yellow and brown spotted coat.
Despite the Hyena's larger size and bigger ferocity, I would think the AWD would win this one. It's more agile and slim and is also a better hunter. The AWD has even been known to prey on Spotted hyenas. The AWD's Method would be that it would try and avoid those jaws of the Hyena and try and go at the neck and kill it.
I am not quite sure what you mean by small but there is a Jackel, Hyena, and a African Spotted Dog. That is all that I know of
Not all the time, because depending on the type of dog depends on the colors of the dog.
It depends on what kind of Hyena you want to describe because all breeds of Hyena look different. My favorite are the spotted Hyenas and I would describe them like thisThey have Big round ears and most of their body is covered in spots. They are 28-30 inches tall and most of the are skinny in the legs. They have a slanting back a dog like nose. The Hyena is a mammalian family of order Carnivores. The Hyena's family, native to both African and Asian continents, consists of four living species, the Striped Hyena, Brown Hyena ,the Spotted Hyena, and the Aardwolf.
Many people think its a dog, others cat. Truely it is nether. The hyena has its own family, the Hyenidae. In this animal family belongs the Brown hyena, the Spotted hyena, the Striped hyena, and the insect eating Aardwolf. I hope more people actually figure this out and start knowing what animal a hyena is :)
i would think so
difinentily.yeah. p.s, if you like dogs more than cats, you need to go to the hospital.
