The Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, and some evangelical Christians hold to the belief that the soul sleeps within the body until the Resurrection on the Last day. Lutherans, Catholics, and most Protestants hold to the belief that the soul leaves the body at the moment of death.
