The "EGI INJ" fuse is the right fuse to pull out. It will stop the injectors from shooting out fuel. After pulling the fuse out, crank engine for 15 seconds, rest, crank for another 15 seconds, rest crank for another 15 seconds, rest, put the fuse back and then crank. engine should basically start. if the engine is still not starting, take out the spark plugs and put oil around the seal, thread area and replace back. Do the same previous procedure mentioned The engine should finallly turn over now and start.

1988 Mazda rx 7 where is the egi fuse located?

In the engine compartment, on the left side, just forward of the left wheel tower, and just aft of the battery is a covered fuse box with all of the large fuses in it. Pull the cover off. The cover has a legend on it that tells you what fuse is which. The first fuse (closest to the center of the car) is the EGI computer. The second one in is the EGI injectors.

What fuse controls the check engine light on a 1997 Mazda Protege?

Well, that light isn't directly controlled by a fuse - it's controlled through the engine ECM. To pull a fuse for the sake of disabling that light, you'd have to pull the ECM relay.. the problem is, you'd disable the ECM, in turn, disabling the car.

How do you reset your radio in a Mazda tribute?

Disconnect your battery. /// Rather then disconnecting the battery which effects all the components, just pull the fuse (large fuse block in engine compartment) for the particular item you wish to reset,,, example: switch key to on position, pull injector fuse (30 amp), return key to off position and reinstall the fuse, this process resets the check engine lamp in most cases.
