They have not decided yet. All that is known at this time is that there will be a Dark Knight sequel. Chris Nolan is back as director, his brother Mike Nolan is again writing the screenplay and Christian Bale will return as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
It is unknown if the Joker will even appear in a movie.
In the New Batman Adventures Mister J appears in: Joker's Millions Mad Love Beware the Creeper and World's Fnest part One, Two and Three
That really depends on which animated version. The 60s cartoon, Superfriends, Batman TAS/New Adventures of Batman, Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker, The Batman, or The Brave & the Bold?Let's say you're talking about TAS. It was based on the Tim Burton movie, which replaced Joe Cool with Jack Napier (faux name). That Joker looked about 20 when Batman was about 10, so if Bruce was 20-30 as Batman, then the Hamill-Joker was 30-40. But in the comics, the Joker could easily be the same age or even younger than Bruce Wayne.
Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker behind "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," says he has no plans to use the Joker in another film. This is in deference to the death of Heath Ledger, who died on January 22, 2008, six months before the release of "The Dark Knight." Ledger was awarded posthumously a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in the film.
This question can technically not be correctly answered. This question is an opinion question. But in my opinion:Many people say the joker is indeed insane or deranged. Yet in my opinion I would strongly disagree! Though the joker can act crazy to the extremes, he simply just thinks differently, just is misunderstood. So apparently he thinks "weird" according to you people but he's just as "weird" as you!-Jokerfan07Ever since Grant Morrison wrote "Arkham Asylum:A Serious House on Serious Earth," about half the comic community took to heart that the Joker is a supersane sociopathic actor instead of a genuinely insane psychopath. It really depends on the writer. Much like the way an actor changes his personality from movie to movie, the Joker will tire of his ways & reinvent himself every so many decades. The original Bruce Wayne Batman & Red Hood (Jason Todd), & possibly the new Batman (Dick Greyson) believe the Joker is sane enough. Yet a few times the Joker has stated that the world is a dream & only he & Batman are real. It's also possible to be half-sane; where you have various mental disorders but aren;t genuinely crazy enough to be institutionalized. Look at the Joker's love life; is he asexual, bisexual, or gay? Outside of Elseworld's comics, he's written as celebate, but he's a sadomasochist who loves the feal of pain. He provokes big men to fight him & he beats on women. Violence is his sex life.
Not really. It can be scary for little kids because of the Joker, but he's personally my favorite character. Scenes make you jump. Like the other guy said, all in all not that scary.
Jack Nicholson and in the new movie The Dark Knight, he was played by the late Heath Ledger.
The episode is titled "Joker's Millions" episode 7 of The New Batman Adventures not to be confused with Batman the Animated Series
The Joker
yes he spontaniously combusted
It didn't happen in The New Batman Adventures. Look up Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, it's a movie that takes place in the Batman Beyond timeline. Barbara Gordon has a flashback as she tells the new batman (Terry Mcginnis) what happened to them after Tim Drake/Robin was kidnapped and tortured by the joker for 3 weeks. *It shows the flashback in a 10 minute clip*
If you are talking about Batman Arkham City then yes. If you're talking about Batman Arkham Asylum, then no.
Jim Gordon (who was Lieutenant at the time) was appointed as Commissioner after the death of Commissioner Gillian Loeb and the Joker's capture.
In the New Batman Adventures Mister J appears in: Joker's Millions Mad Love Beware the Creeper and World's Fnest part One, Two and Three
While The Joker will not appear in the new Batman movie, he will appear in "Suicide Squad" played by Jared Leto, which is due for release in August 2016.
Well, yes. The joker is dead, because he had suffered from a disease that was eating at his body, slowly killing him, in Arkham City. Plus, Arkham City had a NEW Joker voice actor, so it WAS the death of the joker, hypothetically.Yes. He was killed by Batman a long time ago... (Accidentally of course) But this doesn't mean he hasn't/won't come back...
