The Second Amendment
the second
Well, you don't have to "have" any amendment. However, the second amendment is the one that refers to gun ownership.
Some common questions about the Second Amendment include: What does the right to bear arms mean? Does the Second Amendment protect individual or collective rights? Can the government regulate gun ownership?
There is no "gun control" amendment.
if you mean the founding fathers it is because that wasn't the reason for gun ownership. they wrote the second amendment, giving freedom to own guns, because they wanted people to be able to defend themselves from the government.
Gun control has EVERYTHING to do with the 2nd amendment; it's why the amendment was written in the first place!!!!!
The National Rifle Association (NRA) supports and endorses the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, which guarantees the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This amendment protects individual gun ownership rights and has been continuously advocated by the NRA.
The 1st Amendment deals with the freedom of speech.
4th Amendment
The 8th amendment
economic amendment
The second amendment gives the citizens the right to possess and bear arms. It also gives citizens the right to be part of a militia. It does not remove the right of the state to regulate the militia. It prohibits the state from dissolving citizens militias. So, while the state can regulate citizen's militias, it can not dissolve them. It can regulate gun ownership. It can regulate gun usage. It can not prohibit gun ownership.
