You cant say that the American Army is feared the most. There are other factors that play into this other than size and strength. The US Army is only feared by its enemies, and that's not even most of the time. Nations fear armies who are led by ruthless men. Canada is our ally, therefore saying they fear us would not be rational. You have to remember that it is the leader, not the army who instils fear. For example, Pearl Harbor. The Japanese were greatly outnumbered. They new this and this was the reason for their suprise attack. After this the Japanese were feared, not because of their fighting force, but because of those who lead it. Since the leaders of nations and armies are always changing, so is the list of "frightning forces".
