Both armies come along way military speaking . Since the colonial ages Colombia and Venezuela militaries had been in conflicts. Many people claim that because Colombia had been at war for 100 years against their internal plague called the Farc , they take for granted Venezuela military.Lets not forget that Venezuela defeated an External guerrila that came from Cuba to take over Venezuela. It is true that Colombians have alot of experience in jungle warfare but it is not a reason to substimate one of the oldest army in Sud America . Many people think that Vnezuela's army is full of analphabet paisans with a bouch of Ak 47's. Venezuela's army is more than that. Their army is composed with 4 branches: the Navy, the regular Army, the National Guard and the Aviation.

The regualr army its quite strong but has not esperience in combat whatsoever ; their aviation has very experienced pilots in fact some voices say that during the Malvina's war , Venezuela sent some of their pilots to soupport dressed and commanded by the Argentinians. The Navy is respectable they have a good special forces but nothing to fear of compaired to other countries like Russia , Chile or USA. The National guard is the most experienced branche of the Venezuelan army with experience in jungle warfare , street warfair and their special forces are amazing trained by USA . USA ? YES by us , Venezuela haven't allways been against the Americans. In the past they had been trained by Americans . Venezuela's doctrine is form Prussian roots , Prussian?? . Yes , the Prussian doctrine was adopted right after World War 2 , when they received quite a large number of German famillies. Among those German families came ex militaries . When their children grew , most of them joined the Venezuelan military academy and trought their parents converted the army slighted Prussian. All that story to say that Venezuela's military are very diciplinate when it comes to listing to their supperiors . A war between Colombia and Venezuela will result into a catastrophe for both contries . It is very difficult to predict a winner , because if USA soupports Colombia with men and ships , Venezuela might resist but eventually will fall. 10 rageous dogs can kill a lion .
