Halasana
in Sanskrit refers to plough pose.
It is performed by laying in a supine position
(on your back), the arms running along side the body with the palms facing down. Using the core, take the legs up and over your head reaching behind you. The legs should work parallel to the
floor and make sure you have plenty of room to breathe. Be very careful about putting any weight on the neck. The grounding aspect of this pose is in the shoulders.
