Any 12 volt battery charger will work just fine.
BCI Group 35 battery, should have at least 420 CCA.
First remove battery cable. Second install your key and turn it to on. Third reinstall battery and all should be fine.
It should be on the starter itself or if remote between battery (positive) & starter. Just follow the cable.
The battery for US and UK is the same but the different is the battery charger You should get a UK charger for you battery.
You do not charge a 7.2 volt battery with a 9.6 volt charger period unless you want to ruin the battery. You charge it with a 7.2 volt charger.

If the charger has a ammeter on it then it should show close to zero which means the battery is no longer pulling any current from the charger which would mean the battery is fully charged. If it has only a voltmeter then it should show 12.5-13.5 vdc
Use of "Trickle" type Battery ChargersIF you're talking about automotive battery applications, and it is truly a trickle charger, then the charger and cables can be left attached to the battery, and it should keep the battery at max voltage. IF however, the charger puts out more voltage than a true trickle charger, then the battery could be damaged by "overcharging."
