Leviticus 18:16 and Leviticus 20:21. It is very easy to take a text out of context and make it into a pretext! Henry VIII was genuinely concerned to find out why none of his children survived, but his eyes had already begun to wander away from his wife Katharine and towards Anne Boleyn, so he was probably looking for an excuse. Deuteronomy 25:5-10 suggests that if a man dies without children, his brother should marry his widowed sister-in-law. The Leviticus verses therefore seem to be referring to adultery with one's sister-in-law.
