A wolf and a Border collie. The wolf is smarter than the Border collie by the way. The Aussie is a more intelligent animal than the sheltie, as they seem to learn faster, and have superior herding skills. Not to say shelties are not intelligent, but the Aussie learns his job faster. Border collies are reknown for their herding skills, and the Australian shepherd rivals their ability.

Having had several of both - border collies are slightly more hyper than labs, though both are pretty doggone active breeds. Both are good escape artists too, if that's a concern for you. If you want a hyper dog, go with the border collie. Bred to herd sheep, they're better suited to expend more energy for a longer amount of time than the lab, who is bred to retrieve. BCs also have an edge in intelligence.
You will need more patience than border collie training. Obviously, it depends on dog persistence. If bulldog wants to get some snacks, it will learn faster.
It is widely believed to be the greyhound, however, I own a lurcher, border collie/greyhound crossbreed, that can run faster than a greyhound, but does not possess its stamina, hence greyhounds are used in racing.
