Possibly California; Calif lost the most men in Vietnam (nearly 6,000 men), and currently has the highest population in the US (over 35,000,000 people).
There is a website that lists the men by STATE. That will break the list down into less than 3,000 men per state; research can begin there. CA lost 5,573 men; NY lost 4,121 men; TX lost 3,415; PA lost 3,144; and OH lost 3,096 men. All other states should have lost 3,000 or less men.
Bomber Command
