Bronchial Asthma - an attack of breathlessness accompanied by wheezing. 6. Pneumonia - an infection of the lungs caused by viruses or bacteria. 7. Emphysema - an ailment in which the alveoli in the lungs become damaged and is usually caused by heavy cigarette smoking and to some degree by long exposure to polluted air. 9. Lung Cancer - an uncontrolled growth of cells which affect the lung tissue and the main cause of Lung Cancer is cigarette smoking.
As per my opinion both smoking and tobacco is bad for the health. Due to the direct contact of the chewing tobacco with the mouth and teeth, the effects of the nicotine lead to gum diseases. Oral cancer can be extensive in people who use chewing tobacco.
This happens during pneumonia due to a lack of oxygen through respiratory failure.
