According to Psalms 83: 18 God presented himself in these words. " May people know you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."
Revelation 4: 11 reads: " You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honour and the power, because You created all things, and because of Your will they came into existence and were created."
Concerning our protection, here is what Jehovah has to say in Isaiah 48: 17,18 in the Old Testament. " This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchasser, the Holy One of Israel: " I Jehovah, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk. If only you would pay attention to my commandments ! Then your peace would become just like a river. And your righteousness like waves of the sea"
That is a strong statement coming from the Most High with the illustration of a river and the waves of the sea. A river represents peacefulness and the waves represent a lot of force, strength or power, that never ends.
Provrebs 18: 10 reads: " The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous ones runs and receives protection.
Ecclesiastes 7: 12 reminds us that wisdom is a protection just like money is a protection, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves the life of its owner.
Think about how many hours of our life do we spent earning money? Jesus said in Matthew 4: 4 that we must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah.
So our protection depends on the wisdom of our choices on daily bases. In fact The Bible is a letter from God and beneficial for our teaching and setting matters straight, according to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17.
So to answer your question, the God Creator is Jehovah, who is worthy to receive our honour, and is begging us to take notice of His commandments, to benefit ourselves. Jesus emphasized the fact that mankind ought to live on every word that comes from Jehovah's mouth, and no longer live on bread alone.
Kind regards
