After all my research i have tested and studied machine gun's and narrowed down the most bps (bullets per second) and it is a prototype gun that has 36 barrels on it! It can fire up to 1,000,000 rounds in 60 seconds! It is to deadly to be released to the public but may be used in the military... that will really help!
A lot of people answer with the Metal Storm, although the mechanism of the Metal Storm isn't really that of a machine gun. As far as machine guns which cycle cartridges through an action, the General Electric/Dillon Aero "minigun" would be your candidate.
The currently-issued gun that shoots the fastest bullet is the 120mm Rheinmetall cannon we use on the M1 Abrams and the Germans use on the Leopard II--its round travels 6000 feet per second.
