there is a hose that goes to the block and one that goes elsewhere, there is a small stem and a larger one that is coming out of the heater core which one goes where
No. The top hose goes to the engine. The bottom hose feeds from the engine to the heater core back to the radiator.
One goes from the heater core to the water pump, the other goes from the heater core to the intake manifold.
Generally the return line.
There are two heater core hose that goes to the firewall the inlet and outlet. through that hose, you will also have the rear heater core hose attached to a T joint in both the inlet and outlet hose. You splice the hose of the front heater core inlet and connect that to the rear heater core inlet hose. Same goes to the Outlet hose with the T joint using a conncetor which you can buy at your auto parts store, 3/4 inch size. Basically you are bypassing the front heater core that is connected to the firewall. You wont have any defroster and heater for the front, but the rear vents and control will have heat.
The heater inlet hose on a Hyundai Accent is in the back of the engine compartment. It goes through the firewall to the heater core.
Generally, the upper heater hose leads to the water pump.
That hose goes to your heater core, follow the hose to passenger side of the firewall.
The return hose for the heater core generally leads back the the water pump. The inlet for the heater core comes from the engine.
Top hose of the heater core goes to the thermostat housing. The lower hose goes the the fitting behind the A/C compressor.
one large hose from bottom of radiator to side of water pump. other large hose from thermostat housing to top of radiator. one heater hose from water pump to heater core, I think this one has a Y in it if there is a rear heater other heater hose from heater core to somewhere on top the engine. If there is a rear heater, its return hose goes to a fitting on the radiator.
Depends on the vehicle. It could be 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" heater hose. The year, make and model info would help.
i have the exact same problem. the hose comes from around the heater core area but i dont know where the otherend goes
