Congress
The US Senate has 100 members--2 for each of the 50 states. The US House of Representatives has 435 members, determined by population--California has the most (53) while Wyoming has 1. Therefore, the total number of members in Congress is 535.
The total number of electors equal the number of Congress-people from every state. There are two Senators from every state and House of Representative members are based on population.
Well The compromise of the constitution was not fair because the other signers of the constitution said that a states number of congress members should be based on the states population and the other signers wanted all the states number of congress to be the same
