Samuel Adams was both a founding member of the Sons of Liberty and involved in the discussions that led to the Boston Tea Party. Whether or not Samuel Adams actually helped plan the Boston Tea Party is disputed, but he immediately worked to publicize and defend it and consequently is credited with organizing it.
I don't understand this question, but the Sons of liberty did organize the Boston Tea Party. I hope that is what you are asking.
Richard Hughes is the founding member of the Boston Rhetorical Society.
The Sons of Liberty were the primary force that organized to protest allowing tea to be unloaded in Boston Harbor. This protest eventually culminated with about 100 members emptying all the tea into the harbor.
Samuel Adams helped organize it, along with all of the Sons Of Liberty. These people dressed up as Native Americans and dumped 90,000 lbs. of tea. Paul Revere was one of the Sons of Liberty if that helps
Hancock paid and organized it and had Samuel Adams organize the men. They didn't dress up. This is part of the fable. The Boston Tea Party was a protest of the lowering of the cost of the British tea by the government and the East India tea company who had gotten a bail out from the crown in 1773. The smugglers in the colonies found the Dutch tea that they sold was higher in price than the British tea, so they staged the Boston Tea Party and others in harbors in the colonies ( Hamilton was one of the largest smugglers in the colonies and a founding member of the Son's of Liberty). The cost of tea also went as far back as the Navigation Acts and the restricting of trade to and from the colonies passed from 1650-1733. Tea was also taxed in 1767 in the Townsend Acts.
No. The Sons of Liberty --as an organization-- started in Boston and it was the New York group that helped to organize groups in other states. The earliest group was in Boston in 1765. Washington was in Virginia. He did not get active in politics until he joined the Continental Congress in July 1774. Although he did show interest in politics as early as 1769.
