I was not able to find any information linking Internet Service Providers to webhosting and an offer of unlimited bandwidth. I would think that most, if not all, ISP's are going to limit bandwidth for different levels of payment.
As per your service providers......(plan of internet)
The benefits to using unlimited bandwidth is that there are no restrictions on the speed of the data transfer from the host of the internet site to the personal computers of the guests to the site.
If your Wii is connected to your internet connection, then it is using your internet therefore it is wasting your internet usage. Depending on your internet bandwidth plan, it could use up all your bandwidth or none at all if you have unlimited! :D
Illegal downloads can be tracked by a computer's IP address. Internet service providers can also track all Internet activity on a customer's computer.
No, Mediacom internet has an upper cap of 250GB. They don't do unlimited downloads. But 250GB is pretty large. If you do too much downloading you'll probably not go over your download limits.
Service advantages offered by dsl internet providers are mainly speed and bandwith, you can download unlimited amounts at fast speeds.
A high bandwidth for users is subjective and depends on the individual user. 100GB to 300GB is generally considered as high for most users. Unlimited bandwidth is the highest usage a user can get.
Most cellular modem providers do have a monthly data cap. Cricket is one of the few that does not. However, if you go over a certain amount of bandwidth in a particular month they may lower your bandwidth to a slower speed.
Unfortunately you are stick with the local companies like Xplornet or Rogers for sattelite internet service. Surely there are some more sattellite internet providers out there as I might have missed some. If you live more urban look into cable internet resellers or third party ISPs who can sell cable plans cheaper with unlimited bandwidth. Sattelite internet plans often have a usage cap and are very expensive. Look into providers such as IVC Telecom or CanNet .
Ultimately depends on the terms & conditions of your supplier but in most cases yes, downloads contribute to your data/ bandwidth allowance
Bandwidth is used whenever you are on the internet, so unless it is offline there are no virtual worlds that use no bandwidth. However, most Internet Service Providers have very high bandwidth caps, usually about 250 GB (which is equal to downloading 250 movies) or no cap at all, so you don't need to worry about bandwidth so much.
