In my opinion, a black bear hamster makes a very loving pet and really cute on top of that. I would go with the hamster because they're also easier to handle.
Teddy bear
I would definetely say a black bear hamster by far.. they are the nicest and tamest of all the different breeds of hamster.. never have i had one that bit me or anyone it didnt know. I never had a black bear but I have had a teddy bear and it was a sweety.
no
yes teddy bear hamsters are quite mature where as black bear hamsters bite u if they dont like u
Well, I have a black bear hamster and i got him when i was 10. So, I think that a black bear hamster would be appropriate for a 9 year old. But, it depends if he/she is a caring person or not. If you think he/she is rough and uncaring, then probably getting him a hamster Isn't a very good idea. Anyway, a black bear hamster would be appropriate for he/she because they are very friendly and caring. Have a nice day! :)
about two times a grown mans thumb the size of a mouse and my answer is better!!
No at least not to me teddy bear hamsters are the best kinds of hamsters and they are ot "grosser" then a mouse.
They are both types of Syrian hamster, however Syrian are solitary and will fight if another hamster is in their territory. They can get seriously injured so don't have them together.
Black Bear Hamster is their nickname. Their real name is a Syrian Hamster. No, not all Syrian Hamsters are male. They require a female in order to breed.
