This is like comparing apples and Oranges. Warlocks and Priests are totally different play styles for the most part, especially in instances/groups/raids. Priests are mainly healers with a dps (damage) tree mixed in. They can be very powerfull dps'ers if specced right, however, warlocks are ALL dps. Warlocks rely on their minions for a 1/3 of their dps in most cases.
So basically, there is no better choice when it comes to priests or warlocks, you just pick what's right for you.
