AVG doesn't do jack. Get norton. Sorry I can't supply information, but from experience I tried AVG, it scans but doesn't remove anything.
I really wouldn't suggest it. Anti-Virus programs can clash and slow down your computer a lot. You dont need both. Use either AVG or Norton. AVG is better in my opinion.
Norton - slow down you computer performance, It use lot of your PC resources. Avg affect less on PC performance when compare with Norton. I have use both of them, now I'm using AVG
In my opinion I wouldn't. Go for a free antivirus like Avast! or AVG
AVG - free or premium Norton anti virus Mcafee (i think) i use AVG and it seems good also make sure you have firewall enabled
Anti-Virus Software. Get some. (AVG is free and better than Norton, which isn't) Do a virus scan on the executable by right clicking on it and selecting the scan option.
I have used both. They both do essentially the same thing. However, Norton uses more system resources than McAfee. You might consider using AVG. AVG has a free version and a paid version. It uses the least system resources of any anti-virus out there.
first go to start menu and enter control panel. then go to programs and features right click on Norton security and uninstall. do this to both programs then you are free of Norton anti-virus and should get another one. I recommend AVG free 2011.
Norton is the leader in security software for your computer with more PC Magazine Editor's choice awards than any other security company. Start a free trial and protect your PC today! cutt.ly/hh3OimP
Neither. Use AVG firewall. It's even better than the other two or the Windows firewall.
By downloading some good antivirus software like AVG free, Norton (from Comcast), and others. Just make sure it's trusted.
There are several reliable free versions of anti-virus software available. Norton offers a free version as well as Avast and AVG. Most free versions are simplified versions of the company's pay-to-own full version, but are reliable and offer good protection.
AVG or Norton. Well I recommend AVG because of its unique virus vault feature. I am very familiar with anti malware software but AVG is the only one that has a feature that quarantines viruses and allows you to send them to other people. In retrospect this feature is sometimes abused. However, it was created to allow users to easily send malware for inspections and advice on how to deal with them. But you can't just say AVG because I don't know why you are wanting them. Are specifically concerned about internet security or are you concerned about network security. Each brand has various products that specialize in many areas. But for me I recommend Windows Live Onecare
