F-16 has better avionics, powerful engine, more hardpoints , fly-by-wire controls, can carry more fuel..............etc
F-16 was once considered the most fearsome jet ever build,it is highly capable all weather multi role fighter that can also drop bombs with deadly accuracy.
F-16 has been backbone of USAF for several years and is highly exported to other nations.
the advanced versions of F16 are even more lethal.
On the other hand JF-17or FC-1 is joint venture between Pakistan and China,
rumors are present over internet that is based on Rejected Russian LFI ( Light frontline fighter) project.
the most strange part of this aircraft is that though it has been the joint venture between China and Pakistan, China has't inducted single JF-17 in its airforce, one can only wonder why ?

Hey is it possible in real life for a Hind D gunship to down an F16?
Technically possible but practically impossible........unless it was on the tarmac Remember the two machines are designed for very different roles. The Hind is a ground attack aircraft whilst the F16 is (as its name suggests) a fighter. The F16 has everything in its advantage. Speed, weapons, technology and probably most significantly distance. It wouldn't take much for the F16 to knock a hind our the sky as the AMRAAM-120 (its principle medium range weapon) has a range of 48km or 30 miles. The hind would be history before it even knew the F16 was there. As a totally unrealistic setting - if for arguments sake the F16 was out of missiles ( at which point it would most likely bug out) and it chose to fight with guns then if by some miracle the f16 missed and the hind got a shot off with its gun and hit the F16 then yes I suppose it could down it.

That is a matter of opinion. Both are great airplanes. The F-16 is newer and will have better electronics and avionics. Given the choice I'd fly the F-16 but the M2000 is still a worthy adversary.
